TORSO/BODY

Key: Level 1: White | Level 2: Blue | Level 3: Red | Note: In order to obtain higher levels, please ensure all previous level requirements are met where applicable

Collar/Trap Armour
Collar/trap Armour is recommended for all kits but is not mandatory. Both Modern and Post Imperial styles are approvable as long as it is cohesive and matches with your chosen chest plate. Era-matching armour is only required from Level 2 and above. Capes can also be used instead of a collar plate.
- Modern Style Kits must use the Boba/Jango style plate that sits above the chest plate and in front of the neck, wrapping around to the shoulders.
- Post-Imperial Kits must use the Bo-Katan/Sabine wren style plates, which are 2 individual plates that sit on each shoulder.

Chest Plates
- Must not touch or sit under shoulder armour.
- Armour must not sit too low as to restrict movement. Positioning should be to ensure that it is covering the chest area as intended. Low hanging chestplates/badly worn chestplates will not be accepted at any level.
- Must match the era of the kit (e.g modern uses Jango/Boba style seperated plates, Post-Imp uses one-piece chestplates as seen in The Mandalorian era source material. For troopers, clone wars style chest plate cannot be mixed with a live-action kit)
Custom designs on non-canon characters are allowed providing they match the key elements of the source material (e.g iron heart on a Mandalorian)

Shoulder Armour
- At least one shoulder plate is required. Shoulder plates can be symmetrical or asymmetrical
- Must be central on the arm, above the bicep muscle
- The top of the shoulder plate must sit at the edge of the flak vest strap, the shoulder seam, or just above it
Shoulder styles can be any in-universe style or a custom design, but must be armour pieces, not alternate materials such as leather armour or hide pieces. For kits that may need to use an alternate material or style, please discuss with the approval team first!

Back Coverings
A backplate is recommended for all Mandalorian kits but is not mandatory. It is however mandatory on all trooper kits. Short/half capes and ponchos will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis as they may not cover the back adequately at all times.
- A full back covering is required. This can be achieved with a backplate, a jetpack, a hard shell backpack (e.g., Clone trooper style), or a cape.
- Shoulder capes will require a backplate.
- Backplates must sit correctly on the back as to not 'float' from the undersuit or stick out.
- Boba/Jango backplate styles must be one-piece. Jetpack holes/connectors are acceptable with or without a Jetpack attached.
- For troopers, the back plate and chest plate must match and sit comfortably in line with each other.
- Backplates should sit in line with any armour piece that meets with them (chest armour that wraps around the side of the torso, or collar plates that wrap to the rear of the kit)

Gauntlets
- 2 gauntlets are required on all kits unless on a canon character that specifically uses only one gauntlet.
- Gauntlets must close together securely to make sure that a minimal gap is visible between both halves.
- Gloves with large cuffs must be completely tucked into the gauntlet but must not extend past the gauntlets on the forearm
- Attachments for gauntlets must be mounted to appear practical and functional
- Hose attachments must have hoses mounted
- Flight suit sleeves should sit neatly within the gauntlet, without any flaring and without covering over the gauntlets.
- Gauntlet closure for Level 3 must leave NO visible gap in the closure of the 2 halves
- Weapons must be built into the gauntlet to not appear glued on

Optional Pieces
Biceps (Optional)
- Bicep armour must sit beneath shoulder armour.
- Bicep armour must not restrict elbow movement
Hand Plates (Optional)
- Hand Plates must be sized correctly as to not hang over the sides of the wearers hands and must not collide with gauntlets.
