Flight Suits

- Two Piece Flight Suits should appear as one piece through use of well worn parts laid over such as waist cloths/cummerbunds and belts. 

- Long sleeves are required for all Mandalorians, Single and double sleeved designs are acceptable.

- A neck seal is required, this can be in the form of a balaclava, a neck gaiter, or a high collared flight suit.

- Flight suit material should be durable and sturdy. It should be made from one solid colour material with the exception of additional panels made from a different material. For example leather, pleather and vinyl. ​

Weapons/Props

- ALL weapons must be submitted for approval and follow the rules below:

- Blasters must not resemble real-life weapons, if they do (e.g the AK47 style rifle seen in Andor), then a solid orange cap must be placed on the tip.

 

- Functional firearms are not allowed in any capacity, this can be anything from NERF through to Airsoft. If it fires, it will not be accepted. 

 

- All props must appear in-universe. Either based on source material or a replica of a prop used in Star Wars media. Custom designs should be run through the approval team first. Modified NERF/retail blasters are allowed but must be heavily modified to be unrecognisable. 

 

- All props must be made out of plastic, foamex or a similar material. Wooden/metal props are not allowed unless as a lightsaber hilt, or a minor weapon part (i.e a wooden stock or grip) 

 

- All bladed weapons must be convention-safe and blunt. No sharp blades. 

 

 - Retractable or 'pop-out' weapons from the gauntlets are allowed but CANNOT extend past the users open hand and must be safely used for photos/videos only when trooping in a safe environment.

Flak Vests

- A flak vest must be worn under armour plates.

- You must ensure that your vest is properly fitted/tailored to you. Baggy and oversized vests are not acceptable.

- Thick layered vest materials are encouraged to ensure correct placement of armour parts. Thin t-shirt like materials will not be accepted.

- The bottom edge of the flak vest can be covered by waist items. However, the vest must not extend beneath the bottom of the waist items. The flak vest should not bunch up.

- Zippers, poppers, and Velcro are acceptable methods of closing your vest. but they should be completely hidden. Laces are also acceptable and do not need to be hidden.

Accessories

- A Kama (or battle skirt) must start from underneath the belt at waist level and extend no further then the centre of the shin.

- Belts must sit across the waist, with all branding removed.

- Belt buckles should be covered or hidden unless they appear in-universe already. 

- Waist cloths should sit underneath the belt and cover the bottom lip of the flak vest. 

- Capes must be made from a suitable material such as cotton, wool or nylon fabric. They should not be made from thin fancy dress style materials. 

- Full capes must start at the same point on each shoulder and extend no further than the centre of the shin.

- Shoulder Capes must only cover one arm and end no lower than the wearers hand when pointed straight downwards. They must not cover more than 1/3 of the chest plate. 

- Ponchos are allowed on certain kits, but should not be used to replace large segments of armour. Instead they should be used to compliment a completed kit. Ponchos can replace the need for chest armour provided some kind of padding is used underneath to resemble the apperance of armour.

- Jet Packs must be mounted securely using a method that doesn't impede functionality of the kit. Recommended methods are magnets, straps/harness or hooks.

 

- Jetpacks must be a design based on or seen in source material. Please consult the team if you are unsure about a style!

Gloves

- Leather or fabric gloves are acceptable materials but must be practical - satin, latex/rubber gloves or Hello Kitty mittens will not be accepted​

- Gloves may be fingerless or armoured, I.e Knuckle armour, padded palms, etc, but must match the weathering or style of the kit.

 

- Airsoft gloves are allowed also, but only if ALL branding is removed. 

- No skin should show between glove and gauntlet.

Boots

- Combat/Utility boots are the recommended style of boot. Chelsea, knee high, and riding boots are also accepted. as long as they follow all other rules.

- Boots must have a sturdy sole and sit above the ankle. Wedge and platform styles are acceptable. High heels/stiletto boots are not acceptable. 

- Shoelaces and eyelets on the front of the boot must be covered with armour, gaiters, or leg wraps. Exposed zipper closures on boots and gaiters are acceptable as long as they are located on the inside or back of the foot and match the colour of the boot. 

- Zippers that do not meet the above requirements must be completely hidden from view by armour plates, wraps or flaps.

- Straps and buckles on boots and gaiters are acceptable as long as they appear in-universe.

- Leg wraps, boot gaiters or tall boots are required for bridging the gap between boots and the flight suit and must sit perfectly on the leg without bunching/creasing the flight suit.
