Core Rules

Below are the CORE rules for any kit/cosplay.

Some of these rules may not apply to certain kits, but these are the core rules to ensure you are following at all times depending on what level of approval you would like to aim for. Please note on each approval page, there will be a key, like the one below, that will inform you of the text colour assigned to each level of approval. It is important to read all points if going for the highest tier, as sometimes previous level requirements need to be met in order to obtain the higher levels!

Key: Level 1: White | Level 2: Blue | Level 3: Red | Note: In order to obtain higher levels, please ensure all previous level requirements are met where applicable

THINGS TO AVOID!

- Banned materials: Airsoft gear, fancy dress/halloween costumes, cardboard, Eva foam {level 2/3 only}

Branding - Branding cannot appear on kits, whether that be clothing, labels, boots or otherwise

Crossovers - No Crossover kits are allowed, this includes mashups of characters, direct elements of other characters or obvious inspiration. Small homages are fine, but please run these by the team before adding to your kit!

Paints/Colours - Paints such as glitter, glow in the dark are NOT allowed. Methods such as wraps, hydro-dipping and vinyl stickers should be communicated with the team before application and should not be used as the primary method of painting a kit.

No Gore - Gore includes any blood, body/animal parts whether imagery, accessories or props. The only exceptions to this rule are if the part is from a non-sentient species or can be supported with source material. (e.g A Wookiee Braid, A Wampa Pelt) These should ALWAYS be discussed with your approval team beforehand.

PRINT LINES

- Print Lines are allowed

- Clear effort must be put into removal of print lines (e.g smaller gaps, rarely displayed/seen parts and areas or very light lines that can only be seen under scrutiny.)

- Print Lines must NOT be present

COMPLETION OF KIT

- A basic complete costume, all main parts are present and can be considered finished to a basic standard

- A costume which has had clear effort put into its finish. Well painted, well shaped and well crafted.

- A costume which is expertly crafted with perfectly shaped parts, a high quality paint job and consistent weathering across all parts.
